Neuroscience has, since its origins, attracted scientists from a broad array of fields, psychology, physiology, anatomy, computer science and engineering. Modern neuroscience continues to comprise all of these approaches, each providing a unique perspective on the complexity and beauty of the brain and behavior.
To celebrate the efforts of the interdisciplinary neuroscience faculty who lead research laboratories in Cognitive Science, Biological Sciences, and Bioengineering here at Lehigh University we organized an Interdisciplinary Neuroscience Symposium with strong support from the office of the Provost. The goal is to bring together our community to share our work with neuroscientists from around the region. This inaugural symposium will feature presentations from four prominent speakers from around the country, as well as several Lehigh faculty. Additionally, graduate and undergraduate student researchers will present their work during a mid-day poster session. Please join us for a day of great research, food, and collegiality.
We welcome any student or faculty neuroscientists who wish to join us. Registration is free, but required so that we can plan food. Registration is required by April 7, 2017 at noon (limited to first 200 registrants). A light breakfast and lunch are provided.
Poster sessions require abstract submission so that we can prepare a program. Abstract submission is due April 7, 2017.
